Nancy was born in Singapore and raised in Corvallis, Oregon. Equally influenced by athletic older brothers, an artistic mother, and an ex-fighter pilot, fanatical flyfisherman father, she has a wide range of interests and passions. Currently, she is a graduate student at the University of Oregon in the professional masters program for magazine and a copy editor for the Corvallis Gazette-Times. During the past year, she interviewed dozens of triathletes, volunteered at races, and trained for and competed in an Ironman race in order to write a series of articles about endurance triathlons. In the future, she hopes to be a science, outdoor, and travel writer. Visit Nancy's webpage here.
