Shawna is a junior at the University of Oregon majoring in advertising with a minor in digital arts. She is the design and art director for Allen Hall Advertising, Asian Pacific American Student Union, and Oregon Daily Emerald, and she has directed the Clark Honors College Creative Arts Journal as well as the Women's Center in the past. When she has time, she works with her friend at his photography studio as his art director/makeup artist. She also likes to do random things with Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash as well as paint acrylics and sketch. She is a huge fan of digital and mixed media art and spends a lot of time online searching for new inspiration. Shawna is obsessed with urban pop culture, underground hip-hop, jazz, and indie music, and of course fashion (but only wish she knew how to sew). After college, she will hopefully attend Parsons School of Design or work at a quirky art studio. Her dream is to live in either New York or out of the country in Europe or Asia, working as a graphic designer and hopefully own her own studio.
