A Eugene, Oregon, native, Kelly is completing her bachelor of arts at the University of Oregon, majoring in electronic media and magazine. She will graduate in June 2007. Kelly gained a wide variety of work experiences before returning to school. She continued to work as she completed her associate of arts transfer degree at Lane Community College and entered the UO School of Journalism and Communication in 2004.
Kelly worked on a mini-documentary about cheerleading. She is also working with a group on a dramatic short video and does production for a student-run weekly news broadcast. She has written for the Oregon Daily Emerald newspaper.In the early to mid 90’s, she published her own music and entertainment magazine called On Eleven, featuring articles, interviews, and reviews of national and local music. Kelly enjoyed all aspects of putting together the magazine. She is an avid movie and television enthusiast. She enjoys video and television production, writing, photography, and the outdoors.
