Disorganized Organization
Week 5 loveliness
Has anyone ever noticed that getting organized is a rather disorganized process? I discovered this last week while gearing up for the thrills that surround final draft due dates: Writing out story names; communicating with writers on whether I have received drafts, when I got them and who I forwarded them too; finding out if the photos are done, and if not, why they haven't been taken; making sure I talk to the designer; and THEN, after I somehow wrap my head around all this, actually reading the drafts and having to remember the style guides! Yikes! Even trying to create a spread sheet to help myself stay organized felt very unorganized-- like I was leaving things out. Someone out there, tell me I am not alone!
