Week 1: Portrait
That was a good time
Week 2: First shoots with Jake
That was a good time as well.
Week 3: Second shoots with Jake and the family.
Intense but great
Week 4: Narrowing it down
Got other stories done. AND...
I got to frolic around with a kitebuggier by the name of Eli. He's been power kiting, and buggying since he was 9, and now he's 29! You do the math.
While we (Brandon, Eli and I) were up in Seaside it was great weather. Warm and sunny but it was only so because of the onshore winds. In kiting terms, it was a horrible day for kiting. Onshore winds are unpredictable, unsteady and inconsistent, while offshore winds are consistent, smooth (with the occasional strong yet consistent gusts). The trade off is good kiting conditions for warmer temperature. At that point I didn't mind having semi-crappy wind for a decent temperature at an Oregon beach. Anyways, I am genuinely interested in this new sport, and wish I could afford to get into it. If anyone wants to donate to the Lezlie Kite fund, I would be more than happy take your dollars! It would go to a good cause...my sanity.
Week 5: Waiting....GO DESIGNERS GO
I'm really hoping my ADHD illustration goes into print. I put in a ton of hours and work into it.
See you soon.
