Biography:
Peter Barna's passion for writing began with a focus in creative writing. The emphasis in short narrative fiction and non-fiction developed his style of writing. Peter never thought he'd become an editor until he became an Associate Editor for Flux in 2008. Since that time, he's been the Editor in Chief of KD Magazine (now Ethos) and has also branched into electronic media. Peter eventually wants to get back into creative writing but for now, he loves the opportunity journalism allows to tell other people's stories.
Peter's advisor Mark Blaine, told him once, "Don't go out and do journalism. Go out there to learn something; don't go out there to do journalism half-assed." He concluded by saying, "It's jumping in and being professionally curious."

- Bachelors Degree in Magazine Journalism from the University of Oregon.
